In Person Retreat: Living Buddha, Living Christ

I’m returning to the beautiful Mepkin Trappist Abbey in South Carolina for a four-night retreat on the spiritual wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh and Thomas Merton. We’ll take a deep dive into Thich Nhat Hanh’s modern classic Living Buddha, Living Christ, as well as Merton’s writings that affirm the wisdom of Buddhist-Christian interfaith spirituality. If you’ve never been to Mepkin Abbey, you’re in for a treat: it’s a beautiful setting, with inspiring liturgy and the prayerful presence of the monks, making it a wonderful setting for personal prayer and reflection. Each day I’ll offer several conferences on the spiritual wisdom of Merton and Thich Nhat Hanh. Hope you can be there!
