Greetings and a warm hello to all! My name is Therese Finn,(known as Terri) and I live in New London, N.H. I am a retired nurse and a lay associate with the Trappistine Sisters at Mt. St.Mary’s Abbey in Wrentham, Mass. I have gravitated to the Christian contemplative tradition for many years as well as to Buddhist teachings and those of Paramahansa Yogananda and his spiritually profound esoteric teachings of the East.
I am hoping to deepen my spiritual insights and experiential prayer life in the study of MOTT. As I am an introvert (without a doubt) I, however, feel compelled to participate in this study to hear the many voices of all of you through your experiences and to also receive support in this arduous journey towards the mystical path of Love.
I deeply look forward to the interchange and comforted to have access to a community of seekers willing to share this effort with. Thank you Carl for this opportunity!

I’ve never been to Wrentham but I sure do love the sister’s amazing dark chocolate with almonds! I’ve also enjoyed reading books by some of the nuns there, including Maureen McCabe and Agnes Day.
I think it’s fascinating to read MOTT in the light of all that the monks have taught me over the years. Perhaps you’ll have a similar experience; it will be fun to compare notes.
