In-Person Event: Advent I at St. James’ Episcopal Church (Waimea, Hawaiʻi)

I’ll be speaking at three different churches on the big island of Hawaiʻi during my visit there in Advent 2025!

On the weekend of November 29-30, we’ll celebrate the beginning of Advent by exploring the themes of “waking up” and “keeping watch” — which is a bit ironic, considering that I will probably be seriously jetlagged! Still, I’m up for it if you are.

On Saturday, November 29, I’ll be preaching at the “Beach Mass” on the shore of Kawaihae, sponsored by St. James Episcopal Church of Waimea. The following morning, November 30, I’ll preach at St. James. See you there — Aloha!
