My name is Valetta (Val} Northcutt. I was born and raised in Cincinnati but lived in Atlanta GA for 27 years where I had the good fortune of meeting Carl through a mutual friend who, I am pleased to see, is participating in this class also. I returned to Cincinnati after retiring 5 years ago. I’ve been on a spiritual path for a couple of decades studying both Kabbalah and Sufism in some depth and a little Buddhism. Shortly after my return to Cincinnati, two of my siblings were diagnosed with lung cancer. I assisted with getting them to doctor appointments as well as their radiation, chemo and immunotherapy infusion appointments. Sadly, both siblings passed in December within 3 weeks of each other. I am looking forward to this class for the comfort, structure and discipline of a spiritual practice under Carl’s guidance. (No pressure Carl – your calm and kindness is enough!) Thank you.
