My name is Bill Hobbs and I serve at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Parma, OH. I am a graduate of the Haden Institute spiritual direction program and currently serve as a mentor for the program – which describes itself as being in the Jungian mystical Christian tradition – hence my interest in this course and (all things Carl). At our last intensive we had a session on the Tarot and I found it very enlightening and intriguing – which was a draw to this course in particular to learn more (and do away with some misconceptions).
Bill, so glad you are here! I’m still hoping to get up to your center one of these days, God willing and the virus don’t resurge. I know several people who have participated in Haden Institute programs and they all loved it. Glad you’re bringing that Jungian perspective.
Hi Bill, I noticed you were from Cleveland so I wanted to introduced myself. I live in Hudson and am a mental health counselor in the area. I am fascinated with tarot and the mystical life. I’ve also thought about offering spiritual direction in my work with clients, but I don’t have any formal training. I look forward to hearing your perspective during this course.
