The Mardi Gras beat can be heard on the streets here in New Orleans. My adult son with disabilities and I make our home together in New Orleans and the wilds of northern Michigan, on the lake where Hemingway spent his boyhood summers. We have the best of the city and country life. My son, Thomas, will probably pop into our zoom meetings from time to time as he loves to wave at new friends. (He is nonverbal.)
I am a Presbyterian lay minister and have an active ministry working with people and spiritual practices. My former vocation was international trade law in NYC. I have been fortunate to have studied with Carl on three other occasions and am excited to delve into this classics under his guidance and in discussion with all of you.
