Greetings from Waynesboro, VA, a small city in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. My name is Kathe (pronounced “Cathy”) and I am a married mother of four children, a school board member (a bit challenging these days) and a life-long Episcopalian. At Swarthmore College, I majored in Psychology and Religion and have continued informal studies in these areas since then. My most recent spiritual journey took me through the 4-year Education for Ministry (EfM) class offered through the Episcopal church, followed by an on-line Celtic Christian Spirituality class with David Cole. It was in the Celtic class that I was introduced to Carl’s writings. Last March, I participated in an inspirational on-line Integral Theory (Ken Wilber) workshop led by Carl. I am still rather new to contemplative practices and look forward to incorporating them more into my daily life through this experience.
Welcome, Kathe! You know I did my undergraduate work at James Madison University, just up the road from you.
David Cole is a wonderful person, I’m glad you are connected to him.
EfM, likewise, is wonderful. Back when God was a boy, I worked at the University of South in Sewanee, TN, so I know those folks. What a great program that has blessed many folks.
So… glad you’re here! I hope you find plenty of treasures in this fascinating book!
