My Anglo name is Jeff Crawford, but please call me “Raven” if you are so moved (he/him/his). My husband recently departed beyond Starlight, I am remaining in the Continuing Care Retirement Community where we lived since 2018, in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, OH. I plan to retire this year after a 44 year stint at he University of Cincinnati Libraries. I’m 75 years old and my life is undergoing a sea change! What better time to pursue more intentional involvement with spiritual companions?
John and I attended Bellarmine Chapel on the campus of Xavier University for 20 years. I am technically Eastern Orthodox, but the truth is that I have a “Raven’s Blend” spiritual praxis. I have read MotT twice before. The first time nearly 30 years ago. I lacked sufficient maturity when I first read it to fully grasp the wisdom, and I lacked energy to live into it the second time. Perhaps with Carl and all of you we can grow into the vision.
