I am Julie (she/her), and I live in Michigan. Born on the Feast of the Holy Innocents, I grew up attending post-Vatican II Catholic schools from Pre-K until I left for college. I can’t remember a time when I have not been fascinated by mystics and mysticism.
I spent my late 20s through my early 40s engaged with Buddhism in the Zen tradition. No one was more surprised (and, initially, resistant) than I to find Christianity exerting a uniquely magnetic pull after all those years.
It is a wonder and a delight to find myself here with you, all, now. Carl — I thankful beyond words to discover your work … and this inclusive community where, as Richard Rohr states, “everything belongs.” Your luminous joy and generosity of spirit are greatly appreciated and gratefully received.
A perpetual pilgrim, I am intrigued by symbols, Jung, dreamwork and what animates people. Thanks for the warm welcome!
