    Thanks for sharing your experience, Mary. Your story is very touching, and I am glad you’re feeling the return of “sunshine.”

    I have tremendous fondness for the Oregon coast. My brother went to University of Oregon for college, and we had some great trips driving the Oregon coast. I am sure that I passed through Yachats several times.

    Pleasure to be connected with you, Carl. Holy Cross — nice! I still haven’t made it there, but friends tell me great things. I had a wonderful retreat a few years back at St. Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, MA. I know that you are connected to the Trappists down in your area.
