I was born in Puerto Rico and have been a priest for 30 years, first in the Roman Catholic Church and now as part of the Episcopal Church. I am the rector a a beautiful church and community in an island of the Pacific Northwest: Orcas Island. I have had the opportunity of working in the Dominican Republic in the border with Haiti, in Belgium, Spain, Puerto Rico, and here in the USA for the last 17 years. I have done graduate studies at the seminary of Santo Domingo D.R., at the Lumen Vitae Institute in Brussels, at the Pontifical University of Salamanca in Spain, and at The General Theological Seminary in NYC. I have always been attracted to the contemplative life/practices and like to explore inter-spirituality. Lately I have been studying Western esotericism. I am also a photographer and teach photography. I share my life with my husband Hugh who is also an Episcopal priest and our two dogs: Ava (a wonderful tripawd) and Bruno.
